PARENTS EVENING

Parents evening will be held during the first week back at school after the half term break. The Reception and Key Stage 1 (Year 1 & 2) children will have their meetings on Wednesday 27th February. The Key Stage 2 children (Years 3-6) will have their meetings on Thursday 28th February.

As in previous years, meetings will be held in the school hall.

Appointment letters will be sent out on the first day back in school after half term.

Scholastic book fair will also have a selection of books available if parents wish to purchase some new reading material for their children during the week.

The book fair will be open every day after school from Tuesday 26th February for a week.

BEEVER WEBSITE

The new and updated website should be ready to be launched shortly- it is a vast improvement on the current website and I hope you will find it useful as a source of information about the school. The images of the children taken by the photographer are fabulous, so can I ask if there are any parents or carers who have yet to sign the image permission form, to do so as soon as possible. Further copies of the letter can be obtained from the school office.

CROSS COUNTRY

There were some fantastic runs by Beever pupils in our most recent Cross Country event at Chadderton Park on Saturday.

Well done to Reece Smith, Kayleigh Hall, Rennique Harris, Shai Garlick, Jack Whaley and, Kieran Chadderton who ran so well in some muddy and testing conditions.

CAR PARK

Please can I ask parents to not drive into the school car park. You will be aware that space is extremely limited and with vans or trucks making deliveries on a regular basis throughout the day, the situation can get dangerous.

There is ample additional parking available near the school- either in front of the shops on Egerton Street, or at the top of the school site, on Thames street.
