COMIC RELIEF ON FRIDAY 15th MARCH

Comic Relief is upon us once again and this year we are holding a uniform free day to raise money for this worthy charity.
Children who wish to wear non-uniform on this day should bring in £1.
Mrs. Nawaz and Mrs. Barlow, in the Cookery Club, will be having a special ‘Beever Bake Off’ to bake cakes and biscuits for sale on the Friday. Biscuits will cost 20p each and cakes will be 30p. All proceeds will go to Comic Relief.

EASTER COMPETITION

This year’s Easter Competition will be on the theme of Easter Eggs. We are asking the children to decorate a hard-boiled egg; paint, felt tips, etc can be used to create their design, items can also be stuck on or attached.
Can children who want to enter this competition, please bring into school their decorated egg on the last day of term, Thursday 28th March. Prizes will be given to everyone who enters the competition.

CROSS COUNTRY

There were some fantastic runs by Beever pupils in our most recent Cross Country event at Chadderton Park on Saturday 2nd March.
Well done to Reece Smith, McKenzie Firth, Kayleigh Hall, Nikita Hall, Hayley Borland, Shai Garlick, Jack Whaley, Kieran Chadderton, Leon Wrigley, Peter White and Connor Wrigley who all ran so well.
Our final race of the season will be on Saturday 23rd March, once again at Chadderton Park. Let’s hope we can round the season off in style!

CONSIDERATION TO LOCAL RESIDENTS

Please can I ask parents who park at the rear of the school on Douglas Street to show consideration to those residents. I have had to deal with complaints recently about parents and children littering the area and parking their vehicles in a manner that does not allow them safe access to their property.
