REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY

The children are now able to purchase poppies in school in the days leading up to Remembrance Sunday on Sunday 10th November. We ask for a minimum donation of 20p.

CHILDREN IN NEED

Children in Need day will be held this year on Friday 15th November. Once again, the school will be participating and trying to raise money for this worthy cause.

The theme this year is to wear something spotty- this can be an outfit or a single item of clothing. Children should bring £1 to school to take part. ‘Children in Need’ wrist bands will also be on sale at £1 each, and there are also some other activities planned to raise money.

PARENTAL SURVEY

Many thanks to everyone who completed their parental survey. I will be posting a summary of the feedback on the Beever website shortly, but the vast majority of respondents have been very positive in their assessment of many aspects of the school, with a wide range of comments highlighting areas we do particularly well.

Just as importantly the survey elicited a range of constructive comments on areas where we could improve, all of which have already assisted the school’s leadership, helping inform plans for the further development of the school. Once the summary has been posted on the website, hardcopies will also be available from the school office.

BEEVER BREAKFAST CLUB

We have extended the hours the breakfast club is open from following feedback from the parental survey.

From Monday 11th November, Breakfast club will be open from 8.00am each morning, last entry will continue to be at 8.45am.

Some additional items have been added to the menu to reflect the colder weather.
